By using jo, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use jo.

What jo Is

jo is a local AI assistant that runs on your Mac. It indexes your notes, photos, emails, and files to help you find information quickly.

Requirements

• Mac with M1 chip or newer
• 16GB RAM minimum
• macOS 13 (Ventura) or later
• Valid email address for account

Pricing

• The jo app is free to download
• Queries are billed per use (typically 1-5 cents each)
• No subscriptions or recurring fees
• First month is free
• 30-day satisfaction guarantee on all purchases

Your Data

You own your data. jo processes it locally on your Mac. We never access, store, or transmit your personal files. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable Use

Don't use jo to:

• Violate any laws
• Infringe on others' rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the software
• Share your account with others

Disclaimers

jo is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about:

• Accuracy of search results
• Availability or uptime
• Fitness for any particular purpose

AI can make mistakes. Verify important information independently.

Limitation of Liability

We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.

Refunds

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy, email support@askjo.ai for a full refund.

Termination

You can stop using jo at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll email you about significant changes.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA.
